I forgot to say, and if a vehicle has been imported then it will be on the importation list and then it lays out what you need to do exactly. So if some rich SOB already imported a MT-01 you would be in luck as now you could easily import one as they went through that first time hassle. That list is available free.

There are no such things for motorcycles, so you just have to prove that the engine meets the emissions requirements for the year of manufacture and DOT compliance on the lights, mirrors, etc. Doable, don't think it can be that hard, but it will consume a lot of time/hassle... Well, that is, if you do it 100% legally.
