Holy cow. I am watching this show, and what it looks like is happening is an older wife is jealous of a new wife just coming into the stable, and she's asking her husband how he would feel if she paid attention to another guy and he said he was disturbed by the vulgarity of her with another husband or a lover.

Well, I don't know what that would be called. But the point really was that he was disgusted by the thought of her with more than one man, but him with more than one woman is perfectly natural to him.

They all signed up for what they have, so she really can't complain. I also thought it was funny that she is the first wife (the one he's been married to the longest), she agreed to all the other marriages, and now she's jealous.

I don't know how he does it either though. He's kind of a big dumb dork.

Correct none of the girls are related.. he had all 3 wives before the kids starting being born. I agree they knew what they signed up for when it all started.. I also think it is the faith or the way they were brought up. I dont think it should be a double standard and that if the females were raised in a faith where the women had multiple husbands then so be it. What ever works for you... I am with who ever said isnt one wife enough though. How can any one man have enough emotion to go around for that many women? I asked myself the same thing and the only thing I was able to come up with is that they are all gay and he is a female trapped in a mans body.
