Default New riding pants

Thinking I want a new pair of riding pants for the GA trip.

Anyone found anything new recently?

Just browsing. I am always looking for more comfortable gear. I just found a pair of Dainese tex pants that look great, but Italian size charts are mind-boggling difficult to understand so I am afraid to try to order them.

Plus they are only a little less than the tires I need, so I probably shouldn't get them anyway.

Those are good looking pants AC. If it comes to choosing between tires or more gear, I would suggest tires

I'd like to get some more gear myself but its hard to allocate the funds for it

Tammy, if you want to get *really* good riding pants/gear, look at Cycleport. Their stuff is pure Kevlar, and so protective they are approved for AMA race competition. It's incredibly lightweight and cool; really the only downside is it's pricey. Take a look.

These look nice!

gp2 air mesh kevlar pant

Looks like they are custom though? So there's probably no getting them in time for this trip. But they are worth looking in to. Thanks for the tip!

Are there any stores that sell similar pants or Italian sized pants that you could try on to get an idea about fit? I like those black ones. They would look good on you!

I have the Joe Rocket Ballistic 7.0 Textile Pants: Joe Rocket Ballistic 7.0 Ladies Textile Pant - KneeDraggers.com

They fit me well and the length is adjustable with snaps. I am 5'3" with a 29" inseam. The only complaint I have about these pants is they can get a little warm during our MS summers...granted I normally have my jeans on under them. They were fine during our Gap trip last year in June. I've had these for a couple of years now and I rarely ride without them anymore.
