Lauren had some good tips but leave the damn detergent at home. Traveling Light is the key to traveling and less frustration and less time spent when packing/digging for items/ ect. I have some friends (well friend since he kicked off lol) who used to just buy new underwear and toss the old stuff, not a bad Idea really and really not much more expensive when you consider the price of laundry mats. Also roll your clothes when you pack, you can cram far, far more that way. When I travel for a couple of weeks usually I will have just a normal sized duffle bag or backpack and nothing more.
Map out your fuel/rest/sleep stops. flashlight. large flash card for your camera ![]() Also stash a few cash someplace encase your wallet or purse is lost/ robbed ect.
