Yeah I know. I could take off, but I need to stop taking so much PTO, if I want to do all the things we have planned this year.

I got a bag!
![]() $89, straps under the seat, can be used as a tank bag as well, reflective piping, two side pockets, has a liner bag to make it waterproof (or at least resistant) on the inside. TwistedThrottle.com : Bags-Connection Reverse Tankbag and Tail Bag - BCK.HTA.00.052.100

i see you already made your pick, but it thought i'd throw in my $0.02 for anyone else shopping.
i have the Cortech Sport tailbag and saddlebags. while both are well made and can hold a ton of crap, mounting them, as you found out, is the tricky part. if i'm just using the tailbag i just tie all of the bungees together under the rear seat and snap it on. i've only used the saddlebags once and they left a couple little marks on the paint since i didn't have them strapped down just so. i had my passenger pegs on at the time which helps hold them out, but i have since removed them. i don't know yet if i'll be able to use the saddlebags without the passenger pegs, but since i don't use them alot, bolting the pegs back on wouldn't really be a big deal. another to know is that even with the rain covers, chances are your stuff will get wet. at least after 500 miles of some of the hardest rain i've ever been in my stuff did

Good info Greg, thanks.
![]() Lauren, it fits well. Looks just like the picture of the 1K above. I may ride to work tomorrow with it to test it out.
