Nice. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for doing touring on my 750. I love it though! I have the Cortech Sport stuff for my bike. Here's a picture of my bike completely loaded down for our trip to Arkansas last year!

That was the setup I used before I went to hard luggage!
Rock On!

Well... kinda, yeah. I didn't really have a great candidate for doing weekend trips anyway, and I can't get full coverage insurance for my S1000RR or the 1125CR in Mexico, so I worried about whichever bike I wanted to take to Ensenada on one of the regular trips. And this one has nice hard bags.

Awesome. In any event it looks to be in great shape! What is it precisely?

It is precisely a 1987 BMW K100RS. 987cc I4 with the engine laid down on its side, single sided swingarm with drive shaft, fuel-injected. 87HP, 70 ft-lbs. Top speed 137mph, happiest cruising 80-90 all day.

Fuel injected on an 87 bike? Wow. They were well ahead of their time weren't they.
