Two of my "lay downs" have been exactly that. I no longer pull of the road onto the gravel/grass unless I'm pushing it at walking speed. Dumb mistakes to learn as scratches on the fairing are supposedly indications to fellow riders you're a lousy driver- which isn't really fair now is it?
