2010 Biketoberfest!

Holy cow, it's this weekend? I thought it was the following weekend, but I just Googled it & it's really the 14th through the 17th.

Who is going? I want to try to get a demo ride on the new Ninja 1000 but I can't take Thursday or Friday off, so I will have to take my chances with Saturday.

Actually I may ride over Friday night and drive over on Saturday so I can bring my good camera & walk around and take pictures.

Yeah, I asked within the last week or two and no one ever responded. Lauren was gone and you may have still been gone too, not sure.

Ok so what is the plan? If you can ride over on saturday, I can ride I guess. It will probably end up being a choice for me to either drive over so I can try to do a demo since I would have to be there so early, and it would wear me out too much to stay very late, or else say screw the demo and ride over at a more reasonable hour and stay later.

Either way is fine with me. If you want to drive over for the demo, I can just ride up and meet you there and we can walk around and what-knot. Either way, I'll get to ride, so that's good.

Ok, and you'll have somewhere to store your gear while we walk around.

If I go over for the demo, I'll be there really early. So you can just call me when you get there and we'll meet up.

Will you text me and let me know what time you get your demo set up for? Then I can try to arrange to be there by the time you're done.

Ok, but it might be as late as 2 or 3 pm.

Oh wow...ok. I didn't realize they scheduled them all day(I don't know why I thought that). That's cool...I'll just get there in the morning then. What time do you have to be there in order to get set up for a demo?

I'm gonna miss BikeToberfest as I'm heading to Jennings on Saturday to camp and watch folks on Sunday.

That's why I was saying just call me when you get there. I'll be parked in the little lot across the street, near the walkway that goes over 92. I'll probably park in the area behind the Kawasaki tent, but you can park anywhere and call me and we can find each other.

But I will definitely text you and let you know when my demo ride is, so if you arrive at that time you'll know where I am.

I might have more than one, who knows.
