Default Anyone out there doing some winter riding?
I haven't yet had the chance to do a good winter picture ride, and was hoping I could find some motivation through others. Have any of you had a chance to get on dry roads and take some snowy landscape pictures?

routes, descriptions and pictures would do me just fine.

You guys been getting wet or anything? How's the riding weather been? We have been lucky that even with a few storms around here lately it's been pretty good riding weather. Can't forsee my next free period to go do my own picture ride, which makes me wanna cry.

Gonna hit 19 tonight here. Clear and windy as heck. Bit too nipply even for Grizzly Fizzer.

What I need is winter pants. My Roadcrafter Jacket is windproof and there is room for several layers. I also need a balaclava of some sort, as the chin-position wind deflector on my Arai is jammed in the retracted position and my freakin chin freezes when I ride in these temps! (Well, other things freeze too, but children may read this....)

Coming home from work to day I see a guy on his GSXR in jeans and some kind of down jacket nothing in the way of heated gear etc as far as I could tell, and I wanted to stop and give him props lol. Only bike I have seen in the last couple of days. It was 32 with a wind chill of around 26 here today. I started to chastise myself for not riding into work this morning but it was 9 % at 6:50 am this morning lol.
