Default Viper Exhaust
Anybody have any experience with Viper exhausts?

There's one on Ebay for $189 for the ZZR.

If they are "loud" I'm not interested. If they make a nice tonal difference but still half quiet, I'm interested. I don't care if there are any real performance gains as the ZZR has more power than I need as it is.

My only experience with an aftermarket exhaust was on my old Warrior 350. It had an FMF Powercore IV which had a nice deep note, and wasn't particularly loud until you "got on it" so to speak.

Have you tried searching youtube? I usually look around on there to find sound clips of pipes I'm considering. Helped me make up my mind what I would want for my Buell if and when I ever break down and spend the $1,000 they want for it. :|

I'm at work right now but I will check later. I suspect it will be louder than I want. I also find it hard to get a feel for the true sound of an exhaust system off a laptop or in my case right now, a cell phone as it has the better connection to the internet of the two :o
