They are pretty long lived. I am almost at 2000 miles, I have a couple of hundred track miles and it works great. The 610 is low revving and an old style adjustable tappet valve train. They are stone reliable and good for mileage.
The 450 and 510 SMR's are more race oriented and maintenance intensive like my KTM was.  And here are some more Husky photos for you.
