I hate it when people have a raceday mentality at a track day. The only way to win a track day is to go home with you and your bike in the same condition as you arrived in.

I agree. I instruct at a local track a few times a year and there are far too many ego toting asshats who are out there to try to set the "fastest lap" or beat their buddy rather than actually learn.
It is always fun to put them in their place, when any one of the instructors on thier 250 ninja would lap them at will about every 3 laps, especially those literbike guys...Then they usually get back inline and with the program of listening and learning, but we do send some of them home early and several have crashed out in the first session. In the event of a crash, it is automatic that you are done and can't ride anymore that day. Which is a policy I love.

Wow that's pretty strict. I have to say I'm glad Jennings doesn't do that. Not all crashes are a result of too much ego.

I could just see the debate now with track officials over just what constitutes a "crash". lmao

Yeah, in both my and Tammy's case up there. When she fell over due to her transponder thingy and the dumb biotch that was approaching me on hot pit. I still wanna kick her arse!

Race control told me straight up that wasn't a crash when my lap timer took me out. They tried to put me back on my bike and send me on my way right from there, but I wanted to go back to my pit area and make sure the bike was ok, plus I was still a little shaken up. That was the first time I had hit the ground in 20 years.

No, I don't have my leathers yet. I am not going to plan on anything until I get them and find out if they fit.

Groovy In the mean time (provided it warms up soon) I'll get the wiring harness figured out on our explorer so I can pull the trailer
