Here's what Becca just posted on FB a little while ago.

Sorry for being so vague everyone! I was a little worked up after Nick went down cause I was a corner behind him when it happened!! Did NOT like seeing my baby and his bike in a cloud of dust outside of T1. For the most part he is ok: dislocated shoulder, 2 broken ribs, couple of fractured fingers, and a concussion. He is feeling much better now... Thank you EVERYONE for your kind thoughts and help!!!

She also just uploaded a couple of pics of Nick in the hospital to her FB. I don't see anything about anyone else though.....searching.

Hey guys, I'm okay I had a series of judgment lapses that if I had used the correct decision in just one of those instances my runoff wouldn't have happened. Not sure what happened with Nick as I was taking a nap in my tent at the time but his bike looks like hell.

As for me, I was getting frustrated all day with catching up to slower riders and only having specific points where I could pass. The problem with these points is that it is also the places where even slower riders can get a pretty good drive out and that requires even an earlier and harder drive to pass them. In my case I was behind two 'sportbikes' coming out of 14 and they have the horsepower to run down the tards but not the experience to pass them in time, I drove out to pass the sportbikes but there wasn't enough room to get in behind the tards and I had to pass them too.

I think I made the pass with plenty of time but it was right at the start finish line and didn't get over to the outside enough. So too fast, too close and not enough hang off I floated up to the outside of 1 and crossed the dashed line of pit out. I stood the bike up knowing I couldn't hold it down with how I was positioned and rode off. Clutch in, up on the pegs and pumping the rear brake. Too fast, full on rear still skidding up the berm i took air and landed into a tree.

Never lost consciousness and knew I was gonna be pretty badly hurt. I laid there suspended by the thorn vines. Knowing that everyone would be worried about my disappearance I extricated myself but the berm on that side is almost a wall so I just laid down singing to let searchers know where I was as well as trying not to pass out.

So, fractured scapula and abrasion as well as bruising on my ribs. (sorry, I'm going to stop there, falling asleep again.)

Dang hotel wireless!!!

So there were 3 ambulance transports, guy on a Ninja went down early in the day on 2 I believe he ended up with a broken collar bone.

Nick went down in 1 when he washed out the front end and lowsided but not the type of just laying down, he was thrown down and bounced with his bike taking a couple of flips. His gal took him to the hospital.

The last 2 ambulances of the day were pandaz and I. Panda went down in 8, we think he hit his foot or peg and lowsided. Video, I am told, shows his head bouncing off the pavement. They were worried about him having paralysis. Kind of odd that we both went off on the same session. That's one of the reasons it took so long to get to me and one of the track workers took me over to the paramedics where they were with him. All I could do was pray for his well being. He is riding today too, so I guess he is okay.
