OK, so I've had it with all the bickering and name calling. I want to see happy things. So tell me what made you happy today, even if only for a moment, no matter how big or how small. I for one was happy that the weather was nice and my work load wasn't overwhelming for once.

I rode my bike to work, in great (cool but great) weather, and rode home in an ugly wind storm, but i was still riding so all was good

oh yea I got to get out of the plant all morning to rebuild a valve at one of the water tanks

Dude you read my mind! I was just thinking about creating a "happy place" subforum to balance out the debate forum & any other general negativity.


I rode to work today, and tomorrow is Friday. I don't have to work this Sunday and I think I am caught up on my bills (as far as I know ).

And a plan just came together for a trip me, my sister & her husband have wanting to do for the last 2 or 3 years. Cottage booked and plans solidified. So I have that to look forward to.

It's my bday. I'm getting off work 30 minutes early, getting all you can eat wings for $5, and most likely drowning myself. I dont have to work tomorrow and I have a tee time and a nice course at 1:15. Its gonna be a good couple of days!

I'm happy because I found an escrow check for $540 from my mortgage company that was in my tax statement that I got in Dec that I did not see until today.
