Default Help me pick a helmet!!!!

Getting money to replace my helmet after the accident so I need to start looking now. I have an extra that I normally use for trackdays but its an hjc and has no airflow. Not gonna work this summer

So these are the ones I'm thinking so far
HJC RPS-10 Ben Spies Limited Edition Replica Helmet from SportbikeTrackGear.com

Bell Star Cerwinskie Helmet from SportbikeTrackGear.com

Bell Star Day of the Dead Helmet from SportbikeTrackGear.com

I really like the Bells because I can buy the photocromatic shield. I love the spies limited edition(only 1000 made) but it has a pinlock shield. I was dead set on buying the Shoei Qwest but I ride in all temps so the pinlock doesnt look fun since I would have to buy a tinted shield and a fog free pinlock for it.

Feel free to add any helmets you might think I would like. Remember I had the replica tommy gun all bright colors and that's what I usually like.

We weighed some helmets one night I was hanging out at Cycle Gear when the Suomy I ordered came in.

ICON airframe - 4.3lbs
AGV XR-2- 3.5lbs
Shoei X-11 - 3.5lbs
Suomy Apex (? It's the model that replaced the Spec 1R Extreme) - 3lbs

ICON sucks. I saw a lot of them come back. I would buy another Shoei in a heartbeat and LOVE my Suomy. Here is a pic of the one I bought: {where it's green on this side, it's red on the other}

My HJC FS-15 Carbon helmet was about $219.00 but retails for over $400.00. It is as light as my Arai RX-7 Corsair, easier to keep clean, has much better high-speed aerodynamics, and is far quieter than the Arai, while flowing as much useful air to my head. The shield is MUCH easier to change out as well. Fyi. I still like Arai, but didnt want to have to spend $587.00 again to get one, because today, I have other expenses to worry about. I love the HJC though, and ride hard with it.

Hell if it was a shit-lid, I doubt Yamaha nor WSB would have let him ride with it during his championship year there. With the exception of racing colors, and being a few sizes smaller than mine they are identical. Both requiring hand lay-up of the carbon fiber sheets to insure longitudinal alignment. Or so my late uncle who worked on the B-2 Bomber would have said.....

I have decided to go with the Bell Star. All the reviews say its an awesome quality helmet and vents an ass ton of air. That's what I want. My extra helmet is super hot and I can use that when it gets cold.

So either this

Or this

And I am going to buy a photocromatic shield. Cant wait to not have to change shields!
