Here in the "top" half of the world it's winter time. Cold weather usually means most of us have put up the bikes, or at least ride them far less. Occasionally the opportunity presents itself to ride on dry roads, with bright skies while snow blankets the landscapes. I'm fairly familiar with most of the terrain features and impacts of this continent, and was wondering what it's like for those of you on the other side of the pond, or those of you in Asia. Would be a dream to travel that much, on a motorcycle no less, and record the event in a million kodak moments.
And those of you on the "bottom" half of the world, with your summer time adventures in the warm days. What do you do while the other half of us are freezing our buns off? Pictures, descriptions and routes are absolutely appreciated. Who knows, might be the basis of some bucket list trip someday.

I do too, especially when I get the warm factor figured out. I don't have heated gear because setting it up goes beyond my capabilities
so it's about layering for me. If the sun is just right, little to no wind, then I'm usually happy. Otherwise something is always cold and it takes a sec to warm up.I grew up in snow, and have lived the last 10 years off and on in a place that doesn't get a lot. Snowy landscapes can be beautiful, and sometimes I get a bit misty eyed for them.
