Yep. I don't have a bike ramp though. Just the ATV ramps.

YouTube - How To Load A Motorcycle Alone

Consider - this guy is *really* good at this. He's good enough that he wants to share his technique with people on YouTube. There's no flipping way I'd do this without dropping the bike four out of the first ten times I tried it, and I bet he couldn't do it 95% of the time - which means he'll drop the bike one out of every five trips to the track.

Maybe I'm either uncoordinated or a coward, but... so be it.

Solo loading a bike like this is only realistically feasible if you're tall enough to have a firm control over the bars/brake lever/etc when you're standing on the ground and the bike is at the apex of the ramp. Otherwise you're pretty much boned.

For trucking my bike we have a trailer with a 4' (I think) ramp that doubles as a tailgate. Easy-peasy. Though you might get an ass-pucker moment if your father didn't properly secure the trailer to the ball hitch so that when you're rolling onto the ramp the trailer comes free and stands up... which happened at 5am the day we were leaving Florida to go back to Canada...

I guess I am just a big chicken or maybe just smarter than the average bear cuz if I need to tote my bike I put it in the toy hauler. It would have to be desperate times for me to try and load my bike into my truck from a ramp tied to the tail gate.. I have loaded KLR650 into my truck from the dirt ramp we have in the pasture, but that is kinda not the same thing.

luckily for me, the bed of my truck is only knee high, so a 6'x1' ramp is all i need.
