Those are good prices. Especially for the 1000. When they declined to bring it over before, it was because the Italian origins and low production numbers made the projected price about $15K, and they didn't think it would sell in the U.S. at that price (probably correctly). At $11K, it's a much closer competitor to the Z1000, and might do well.

^^^ That is correct same with the Honda 599 as it was made in Italy too...I remember reading something that said to continue to bring it to the states they would need to sell it for $10K...and no one is going to pay that for a 599.

It was a very nice bike, my wife loved hers.
