In my search for a bike I have narrowed it down to 3. Please vote in the poll above on which you would pick. Also please leave a post as to why you would chose it over the other 2. Thank you all for your help.
The 3 bikes are.

Yamaha FZ6...why? It has the most HP. I've really never been a fan of how V-twins sound. Sounds like a really loud-fast fart. The FZ6 is I-4 plus it has cool dual pipes.

The SV650, because with an aftermarket pipe, the sweet sound of the v-twin won't be beat. I had an SV many years ago. It's a light, fun, flickable bike that has a fun motor in it. Many call it the best bang for the buck bike around and I tend to agree with that.

I think the FZ will be a better fit over the long term. The SV has everything the Fizzer does but is a twin. I think the four is a better platform. Just me thinking out loud.
The asspipe exhaust arrangement can be a little hot for some people, but the Fizzer is slightly detuned over say, what a CBR600RR would be, so the FZ may not have those issues. Go to a dedicated FZ6 forum for details. IF it were me? I would start Fizzing as soon as possible!

SV would be my first choice, had one and loved it, but plan on upgrading the suspension (all 3 of these bikes could use suspension work though). very reliable, easy to ride, huge aftermarket, great gas mileage (i got 50-60 mpg). i liked the low RPM pull, but i like the having more revs to play with. (SV "only" revs to 11k, vs 16k on my GSXR or 14k on the FZ6)
FZ6 would be my second since it has a cult like following and seems like a decent bike. i was just never a fan of the looks since it seems large for a 600 and looks top heavy. i like the undertail exhaust, not a fan of the banana seat though the GSX doesn't impress me at all since its a heavy bike without alot of power. i guess it would be comfy, but if i was going for comfort, i would choose the FZ6

I like the gsx............its a fun looking bike and Id put money that the aftermarket parts list is bigger just due to the fact that suzuki recycles a lot of shit and well.........its probably a parts bin of bike parts.

I voted SV. They are a blast and they are completely versatile. You can tour, commute, do trackdays, and if the bug bites, there are racing classes for them. Because people race them, the list of available parts is huge. You can think of an SV as a blank sheet, ready to be turned into whatever you want it to be.

I volted for the SV because it has that reputation of being a mad fun bike. The GS is basically a liq. cooled 650cc Katana .. looks nice but not a lot of power. FZ6 just doesn't do it for me.

I voted FZ6. To me, its seating position is more comfortable than the SV650, plus I want the I4 engine as oposed to the V-twin. It can also be had new for a touch over 6 grand.
It was my goal for my next bike, but now that I will be divorced when I get another, cost will not be as big of an issue. So I will likely be going FZ1.
