You just lost the game
|
Pretty self-explanatory.
I consider myself a tourer first and foremost, because I look forward to it the most, I put a lot of thought into my rides, and extended touring is what I have in mind for my next bike. Sure, I love to take the afternoon and weave through the mountains, but that's riding out of convenience and not necessarily my goal.

Your poll is unfair to those of us who don't have access to canyons.
It should be called "sport riding" or something like that. I guess I have to check canyon carver to convey my love for sport riding, but everyone knows there are no damn canyons for thousands of miles around here! ![]() I also have to check touring even though it's really sport touring. I like to ride for long distances and not be in a hurry to get anywhere. But I don't carry everything I own with me when I go.

Ok, I checked touring & track days as well but it didn't count my votes.
I want a recount!! ![]() ![]() I just edited the poll to include my lost votes.

I mostly commute on my bike, but I love to go on long trips. With the family, I have not had much time for that. I am hoping to get a lot more touring in with my new found singleness.

I voted canyon carver, but I'm not nearly as good as I'd like to be.
I just love to ride the roads of eastern Ky.

Tourer, but I stay to the Canyons to do the Touring, Interstates just blow ass and you see next to nothing of the country side. A small outing ride to me on the FZ1 was 300-400 miles.
However with the bike sold, and me getting into Adventure Touring...I will be sticking to touring by way of dirt roads. So still touring, just in a different way, which also means sticking to the dirt canyon roads :-) |

I love jumping on the bike and just riding off. Add a tent and some camping gear and you have yourself a great weekend.
