Right now I've been a commuter every day for two and a half years but when my financial aid comes in, along with my post 9/11 GI bill which will be around 1200 a month for BAH and 100 a year for book and I only spent 300 for 6 books so thats extra. I'll probably end up being a commuter/track day person come end of next month

I checked a few, canyon carver does not sound right (especially if it has the conatation of an idiot riding extrememly agressively and wrecklessly)

But I go on 4-600 mile day rides as often as I can, which usually means about 15 times a year, plus several more 2-300 mile day rides, I go with a couple people to other "fun" regions to ride as much as I can afford and I ride my bike to work nearly everyday from April to Novemeber.
We ride the "pace" on our Canyon carving rides-but I guess when you cruise a road from end to end for about 120 miles at a time doing 70ish, regardless of marked speed for the turns, one could easily call that canyon carving?
Although SW wisc and SE MN are more bluffs than canyons, there are several very nice stretches of 15-25mph turns strung together on almost abandoned roads..Alphabet roads we refer to them as, since they are names like, AA,J,SS,N,D etc...
SOLO, I can go as fast or slow as I like and as the modd suits me, so Cruising to canyon carving, still do trackdays but really not a junky.
