The Buell® Blast was a cute little motorcycle. It just never made much of a sportbike. But, as luck would have it, it makes a killer ottoman. Or end table. Or art piece. What really pisses me off is that Eric knows first hand how hard it is to become an independent builder, hence why he was eventually gobbled up by HD.

He could have easily donated this chassis sans the shitty motor to people wanting to build electric bikes.

I know Im interested in building an electric bike just to do it. That chassis would have been a great starter to it. Small and sparse..............bulbous enough to house the gadgetry.

Just another reason I will never own a Buell anything. That just straight pisses me off.

It's the whole "American Choppers" attitude of wasteful destruction being cool. It's exhibitionism, that's what our current culture is all about - making a statement just to make a statement. Doesn't matter if you have nothing interesting or useful to say or do, as long as you say or do something extreme to get a reaction. Rebels without a cause.
