I was told the other day that all 600s are girl bikes and that any self respecting man would own nothing smaller than a 1000.

Yeah really, thats what I was told.

Then I heard some guy cracking up in this new "tough guy" group that guys on 600s must love the increased gas mileage. Yes that was even considered.

Anyways, I chuckled it off and then politely asked if any of them were willing to put some money where their mouths were.

I figured a triathalon

Road Race
Drag Race
and picking up curb monkeys

We would average all three and see who wins.

Needless to say, I got no takers on any of it.

So I guess those of us who dont need the extra power of the big K bikes are now girls.

About the only thing my liter gives me that a 600 won't is easy 1500rpm red light getaways.

Of course the only time I rode a CBR600RR I stalled the thing out twice before I even got it out of the driveway....right in front of God and everybody. How embarrassing.

Kinda strange, thats something that I have ever heard down here. I haven't heard anyone put down anyone's ride for any reason unless we were just playin around.

I get gruff looks from the harley crowd at times, but they are the trash bikers who are looking for a fight anyway. Fugg them. If they ever actually tried to come after me it's not like they could actually CATCH me. Besides, Gladys might have a word or two for them!

That's funny, too bad some people just don't get it and probably never will. 600's are my favorite size and that with me being on the big side of things.
