I thought I was helping. For only around $800, think of all the money you could save on batteries.

Then, for a little under $500 you can get an Aimpoint 3x Magnifier to sit behind hit, for when you need to reach out and touch someone.

Then, for only a couple grande, you can get a nightvision scope to sit in front of it (it is night vision compatible). After all, zombies do not just attack during the day.

Dale Hollow Lake is exactly the area we were in. We had to go to the campground there to take showers.

Good point.

But seriously, I am likely getting a new flat top upper for my AR in the next year or so. Then I plan on adding that stuff incrementally. I have a cheap ass red dot, but like you left it on and drained the battery. I will add the nice Aimpoint red dot a few months after I get a new upper, probably followed by the magnifier, and then eventually the nightvision.

At least, I hope to.

I would love to move up there one day. I hear work is hard to find up there though.

There isn't anything up there at all. If we were ever to move there, I'd have to find a place that will let me work remotely.

I can't see myself being able to live there full time though. I could entertain myself for a while, but I would miss civilization too much.

That's a nice HOUSE, but for some reason, I was expecting something more along the lines of this:
