Default My company amazed me 2day?

all serious tho,,,they been dead now for a month or so and some us been waiting for the escort out the door(as always been past pratice)

they call us in a meeting today and tell us they are gonna shift us 4 weeks on two weeks off,,,,,either use vacation if we got it or low earnings untill "hopefully" the economy comes outa its state..

so has anyone ever did the low earnings thang before....upnote:I keep my current benefits?

guess I will find more junk ATV's and Harleys to service...

all in all I was amazed at them trying to keep from losing people...maybe EE are somewhat worthy(inside EE joke)

like I said at the end of last year we were working 2 shifts on the production floor and finished with a 40 million dollar year.........to only die in the water this year.....

Good to hear that they're making an effort to keep people on at least. It's tough out there, and reduced pay is better than no pay. Knock on wood, the company my wife works for is incredible. All the CEO's and top people agreed to forgo raises and bonuses so they wouldn't have to let anyone go. They even continued giving raises and bonuses to the lower employees, of which my wife was one. On top of that, they just threw her a company funded, catered baby shower. There are some good companies still out there.

Dude, I'm in the middle of a 3 week temporary layoff. I had to take a week off last month to. The week last month was unpaid, last week was vacation, this week and next are unpaid. I was able to survive the 2 reductions in force that we've had over the last year or so. Hopefully we're going through the worst of it and things will pick back up towards the end of summer. I'm in the auto industry (mostly pick-up trucks)
