Tasha - Godspeed lovely lady.. ride on

I'm sure everyone who knows her has heard by now. Natasha Louis passed away yesterday from injuries resulting from a crash at a track day. The entire motorcycling community has lost a vital member by this tragedy.

I can't think of much to say right now except I love you and will miss you always, Tasha.

I know that many of you didn't know her on here, but yesterday we lost a wonderful person and fellow rider. Natasha Louis left us while doing what she loved and was so passionate about, while riding at JenningsGP. You will be missed sorely. Here are a few of the pictures I have of her from out first GirlRiders trip to Georgia in May of 2010.

We're obviously both thinking of the same thing this morning...Tasha. I went to bed with tear stained eyes and as soon as they were open this morning, they were again tear stained. If you want to merge the two threads, you can put mine inside of yours.

I tossed and turned unusually all last night, and woke up with an odd sense of foreboding that something disturbing had happened and I was going to find out this morning. I didn't give it much thought until I opened my FB and saw Tasha's picture.

My eyes hurt today, because I have been crying on and off since I got the call from Tammy.

There are women that come into my life that mean a great deal to me, and Tasha was one of those women. She was one of those personalities. Funny, great laugh, easy going, inclusive. There are so many things about her that I admired.

Yesterday was the local Girls' Ride, and I went on the ride knowing Tasha would be at Jennings through Monday. I thought I'd have enough time this weekend to see all of my girls. Tammy/Jenn/Janet/Katie/Nancy and any others. I was going to head up to give Tasha some phototime and get some more video of her. Kinda like I did last week at Jennings with some friends from ZZRBikes.

During the ride yesterday, I thought how cold Tasha would be up in Jennings, but I knew she'd be having an awesome time. I figured if Tasha could ride in this weather up in North Florida, then I could deal with it here in Central Florida.

I had planned to make some jokes about the "Warm weather" to Tasha. I was hoping I could convince the easy going nature of Fugi and Tasha to come down and spend a day or so in Orlando.

I had a really fun day planned today around the track, Tasha and photography.

I lost a woman in my life who I admired and cared for. I saw how much Fugi loved Tasha and how they did so much "living" together.

Tasha was not just a rider to me, but a talisman and an ethos of what it means to be a woman. She had it all.

RIP, sorry for your loss guys, found out through a friend on facebook I ride with here who knew her. I hope you all know how huge of an impact she is having, even some of us way over in Texas knew her too and are missing her.
