If I go with the recommended ones, the Michelin Energy, the lowest price I can find is $218 and that's online, so I'd still have to pay for the mount and balance and wouldn't get free rotations.

The Michelin Latitude is $213, online.

Also considering the Goodyear Assurance which is $190, online.

I'm hoping to get someone to match the price, but either way it'll be over $200 each with mount and balance. Then I can still have the free rotation every 5K miles. The last time I bought tires, which was the beginning of 08, it was only $750 OTD.

We'll be getting tires for the Explorer soon and will probably pay about the same
