Well, I found out what works in place of catnip...

My young cat has never shown any signs of interest in anything that wasn't dry cat food or Pounce treats. Chicken - nothing. Thanksgiving turkey - sniff. Shrimp and mahi-mahi fixins for gumbo - ewww. He wasn't even interested in a beautiful joint of venison a friend gave me, either raw or cooked.

I put a ham in the oven this morning, and he's all over it. There are claw marks in the glass of the oven door. Now he's given up on the plate in front of me, having been jabbed about fifteen times with sharp pointy things, and is busily trying to pry the door of the refrigerator open.

Update - I just opened the freezer (typical freezer over reefer configuration) to get a refreshing beverage, and he leaped straight in from the floor and started pawing at the ham wrapper from last night (I freeze wet garbage like that until I take it out). Lol!

Started the year wrenching on the SV1K, it was fun! I got to use my new carb sync tool to sync the throttle bodies...

It's so easy when you have the right tools!

Blah Blah Blah.......so far this 2012 has brought a snow squaw from hell....well if hell was frozen.
the local Interstates have been shut down for hours and I have to fix phones in the AM dammit!
