I been wanting a PS3 for sometime, wife and I knew we were close last year to get a free one with our reward points from Visa. So we log int he other night and dang we are up there, not only did I get the PS3 320GB model with Uncharted 3 (game), I got a $100 Amazon gift card to get a few games and a $100 BabiesRus card too. Then probably after the new sofa delivery tomorrow probably have enough for another $100 giftcard ;-)
Yep, so its a $30,000 PS3 considering that's what we needed to spend to get it. ...LOL So what games should I look at??? Plan to get Grand Theft Auto, Battlefield 3, Grand Turismo I also plan to get another controller, comes with one. |

I recommend Dead Space 1 and 2, if you enjoy the survival horror genre. I love the old resident evil games, but the new ones don't have the same feel. Playing deadspace actually gave me the same feeling of dread about what was around the next corner that I got in high school playing resident evil 2. It is awesome.

I paid like $400 for my "last" x-box and I really haven't used it that much. I say last because it's the second 360 I have, the other one is an early model without HDMI, so I had to have the newer shinier black one with HDMI.

The play is definately much harder. I have actually only played it a couple times this year. I am only half way through the story. I just never have the time to sit in front of the tv for several hours like I want to do if I am playing that. If I am only going to play for an hour or two, i just play ncaa football. And I have only played that about 3-4 times since last winter.

^ Sounds about as much as I play, if it was not free from points building up I would would not of bought a PS3. I was playing Wii Goldeneye a lot, but it wore off, the levels are the same old thing (not enough levels) and so many cheaters it got old online. I beat the game in a day of play for the story.

I like coop games the most. There is nothing like coming to the "rescue" from across a map. It's always fun to watch my husband get into "trouble" and I take out an enemy with a head shot and it happens right infront of him. Lots of times it's really cool to be "rescued". So many times we enter a room or level, and he goes one way and I the other and we kick ass. Coop is the most fun we have. I love when I can play a female character too.

I think I've only really played three X-Box 360 games: - Chromehounds. I love it, but seems it was a flop. - Ace Combat. Love it, will get the new one. - Forza... 2? Got bored of it after a while. I did finish others, like Halo, Quake?, Blazing Angels and PGR3. As you can see, I really didn't get my money out of the damn thing. I got the original X-Box because of "Mech Assault", hoping it was something similar to Mech Warrior. It wasn't, it sucked, big time. Trust me, after that, the I never thought I would get a XBox 360... But one day I saw the Chromehounds demo. That was it, I had to have that thing. It was quite close to MechWarrior and I really spent a lot of time playing that game. I hoped for sequels, but they never came...
