I recently starting drinking coffee. This stuff is a million times better than pop or energy drinks for giving me energy. Its like a whole different planet of awesomeness.
Problem is I still hate the taste of coffee. I dont like how it dries my mouth out and leaves me with that nasty coffee aftertaste in my mouth. But all that is worth it. I need some help in finding some good coffee that I can enjoy in my early mornings and my late nights on the weekends. I dont know wether I like dark or light I just dont really like the taste at all. That's about as far as my coffee knowledge goes lol. Oh and if you add liquid creamer it makes it wayyyy better. Fyi I have a crappy little 5 cup coffee maker with a timer. I dont really plan on spending any more money of coffee making equipment but may be swayed if I reaaaaally have to and its cheap. Pleaz Halp!

Use fresh, filtered water. Get whole beans & grind them just prior to brewing.
The crap you can buy at the grocery store isn't going to taste that good. Go to Roaste.com and read reviews on different types of coffee. My favorites are Kona, esp Peaberry Kona. I get the Kona Earth brand. I also recently got a sample back of different Turkish coffees, which are really good. Today we had Costa Rica La Amistad Turkish. Another type was some kind of Ethiopian coffee. I don't know why its called Turkish coffee when its Costa Rican or Ethiopian or whatever, but it tastes really good.

Definitely grind your own beans. You can control the taste and strength. The finer you grind the beans, the stronger the coffee

Maybe "Turkish" is a roasting or other preperation process perhaps and not indicative of the origin of the beans.?

I buy cheap coffee from the store, but it is pretty good. It gets it a strong flavor, and I add powdered creamer to it. But if I could afford something better, I would.

It's soooo worth it. The regular Kona is really good too though. And not quite as expensive.

Why don't you just pour a cup of used motor oil? That's even cheaper and tastes better.
