Diablo Canyon- 60 miles as the crow flies. Lots of talk in the local paper about the safety factors now. Much like, I would imagine, lots of other reactors around the country. I'm working on getting our house over to solar (we gets tons of sunshine!), but I'm staying connected to the grid just in case. Solar for sure on the well, that way we would have at least water when the power goes down.
