So this is a picture of my Uncle with my father on the back, I have No Idea what bike it is, and my uncle unfortunatly does not remember. Photo would have been taken in the 40s

I don't know much about old bikes, but that almost looks like and Indian. They were popular in that time period I think

It may not be because the tank logos are different

I looked up vintage motorcycles and I've been thumbing through a few images. I saw a few Harleys that looked similar. They too were popular back in the day. I've got eight more hours to kill so if I see anything that might be a possibility I'll post the image

In 33 they painted the logo on the side of the tank looks like a match to me

Don't forget about Exceliur Henderson makes. Not sure of the spelling. But they were fairly popular during that time period.
