Default This is how much your public educators care about the law and the people around them.

Car parked across my driveway ALL DAY.
Van parked in a crosswalk, at an intersection, on the sidewalk for almost the entire day.

Also someone pushed my snowman over

Here's the note I would put on both of these vehicles...

I put this on the Sentra: http://www.cicchini.org/NissanSentraBlockage.doc

Taped it to the driver's window with packing tape.

Because in Pittsburgh only the police can have vehicles towed (Well, and the owner of the vehicle) which necessitates a call to 911 because there is no non-emergency number, everything is routed through 911.

And as it wasn't an emergency and I had nowhere in particular I HAD to go, I didn't feel it was worth the police resources when delivering a warning worked just as well, theoretically.

If it happens again in the future, however, instant call.

Everything is routed through 911? Damn.

Looks like they do a pretty good job of keeping the snow off the street there. Do they lay down salt on it too?

The way that law reads that you put on the window, YOU had a right to have it towed away. I agree with Blurr (sometimes lol). I think you could have had them towed. lol.

PA statute, city ordinances. Two beasts that don't play well together unless you know how they work.

Builtgypsy, they salt non-stop when it gets bad. I've seen the salt trucks go by three times in a night here.

To be honest that person might not of known that was your driveway. I mean its not plowed/shoveled and they did at least not park on the corner or crosswalk area.

Maybe keeping your shit shoveled well let people know in a city that thats a driveway!!! Just a thought. I be more pissed at the van as they blocked a cross walk thats a pretty good ticket is it not? Could you not call the parking authority? I would think they would issue a ticket, and possible boot and tow the van.

As for blocking your driveway...my understanding is you could call a tow company and have it towed...did you call a local tow company to ask? They tell you what to do as they want the tow and storage fee money....heck they probably walk you through or make the call themselves while its hooked up...LOL

That or if you drive a big truck or other type of vehicle...push the bitch up the road. I remember my father doing that once...LOL

Did you even read anything of what I said?

Also they park across my driveway constantly, rain, snow, sunny clear day. At least once every two weeks there's someone from the school parked across my driveway. They just don't care.
