Default Bike Chop Shop Uncovered...there, fixed the damn title:neener
I got the inside scoop from a friend of mine and they actually uncovered a bike chop shop. There were at least 12 different VINs laying around, it might have been more(I'm thinking like 18), but I can't remember. All of them reported stolen. This asshole was parting them out and selling them on Ebay and CraigsList.

Normally once it's stolen, just kiss it goodbye. Thank God this schmuck got caught. What they didn't mention in the article is evidently, this guy's brother is a cop. What a piece of shiot! He keeps storm shutters on his house at all times, so no one could see in. And no, the brother didn't live there. Hell, I guess everyone has a black sheep somewhere in their family.

Either way, High-five for the riders this time!

I found out more info on this one last night from my friend who was there for the bust. He told me that besides the bike that was in the trailer, there were two more in his house and two more in his garage and another out back. All of them missing the VIN's. There was also just a motor sitting in the garage, the rest of the bike gone. Some of the parts were missing from some of the ones sitting around. Plus they found the VINs from the others that I previously mentioned.

He told me that one day last year, a bunch of depts had a hell of a day with this guy. He'd pull up next to a patrol car, slap the windshield while at a traffic light, then haul ass. He said like 4 or 5 different agencies were involved.
