Default Ride plans for 2011
Anyone got anything fun planned in the coming year? Road trips, track days?

I know I am doing one track day at least but not sure when it will be yet.
I want to get back up to Georgia at least once, hopefully a few times.
I want to do a few in-state weekend road trips now that I have a way to pack for it.

We haven't planned it all out yet, but hubby and I will be doing our annual motorcycle trip for our anniversary in May. This year we've decided to go to the North Georgia area!

Hopefully we'll be able to do a track day or two as well, but we'll just have to see what the finances will permit.

I'd probably consider a N. Georgia trip in the fall if I was invited to join the group and had LOTS of advanced knowledge of dates. My vacation requests are best done several months in advance. I like to budget way in advance too.

I don't know when we'll do another group trip, but I am kind of hoping it won't have to wait til that late in the year. You are certainly invited though, whenever we decide to go.

Well, my May vacation is already planned out and I won't take another one until Fall. Soooo....if and when a fall trip is planned, I'd like to be in the loop. (Again, as ahead of time as possible)

I have a cabin booked for the 2011 RMAR event that will be held in Sipapau, NM. Other then that I would like to work on a mainly dirt route to Gateway, CO and back to Colorado Springs....my one goal was to do a route to TN to my parents like the Trans American Trail because i refuse to pay someone $300 for a map...my trail be FREE to all. I'll have to see...I got some motorcycle dual sporting luggage for Christmas so I might give it a try.

I can not wait for Spring ;-)

If any of you are out in CO let me know...I can always toss the Motardrims/tires on and show you around.

well I had planned to ride south America this past fall but that fell through, so we shall see this next year.

I just started a new job and have no vacation, but maybe I can talk them into a couple of extra days without pay. If so, I'm shooting for a trip down to Deals with a friend. Rapid City, SD would be another trip I'd like to make but I don't know how much I can push this year...
