Why not? if anything it brings more credibility as he understands what will happen if it is actually discovered.

BTW some 20 years ago a fake sighting was posted in NEWS magazine, Deer Lodge Montana was inundated with "bigfoot hunters" so much so, the sheriff began asking them to leave, they were a danger to everyone without a doubt
