Bike only once again.

Yep, the little red roadster is up for sale. Should be fine and dandy once the cold weather hits and I don't have to worry about unpredictable rain or hurricanes, I welcome the 20 degree weather with open arms.

I do bike only, and I can only use it 8 months of the year :P

It's all about location. I have everything within a 15 minute walk. Work is a 5 minute walk to the bus in the winter, then a 5-10 minute bus ride straight to the office. So bike only for me is not a problem.

I work about 15 miles from where I live, and while it only takes about 30 minutes to get there if I can take the interstate & toll road, it takes about an hour on surface roads. It would probably take all day to walk.

No way could I be bike only now. It would suck to never be able to go to the mall or anywhere I couldn't leave my bike parked out of sight. Not to mention being unable to go on long road trips and bring all my guns, laptop, clothes and other people.

I'm the complete opposite. lol

I rode for a year straight on my first bike, an '01 Ninja 500, there were a couple times where I had to use me mums SUV however (think hurricane).

It'd be so much easier if I lived in a metro area, but I as of now live the rural lifestyle, if I had a road bike, which I wish I did, I'd ride it to town every other day, which would be roughly 13 miles one way.

How many guns do you really need to tote around? lol

The bike only life works for me right now, no girlfriend, no hellions, I don't buy grocerie sin bulk, the only annoying part is I workout 7 days per week so I've been squiddin' it up lately, but I'm soon getting a 1-piece textile suit so I can simply zip in and out, super easy.

Usually just a pistol, but if we are going somewhere that I can shoot my AR, I want to bring it, and that usually means a few others are coming too, since we rarely get a chance to play with the rifles. No way to conceal them on a bike.

Bike only is something everyone should do at some point in their lives (assuming they ride in the first place). I am really glad I had the chance to do it when I was younger. But my life is too complicated for it now.
