Listening To Music While Riding

I was watching a documentary on the brain a while back, and they showed an MRI (or something) of a brain while it's owner listened to music. It was pretty amazing the way it lit up different parts. The way they described it is that music "plays the brain". And that's pretty much how good music makes me feel. It can pick me up, calm me down, relieve stress, put me to sleep. My favorite thing in the whole universe is music.

You've hit the nail on the head with what you've said Tammy, as it relates to me too.

And the same thing happens to me too if it's new music. I pay very close attention to the tones and words if it's new, which is then distracting from other things. If it's familiar though...it has the same affect on me as you say it does on you.
