Mail carrier stopped dead on a downhill busy road. Two cars behind it stopped. I stopped.

Guy behind me? NOPE! Not paying attention apparently.

My laptop was in the trunk, fortunately missed damage by a hair.

Sorry. Laughing like crazy here! Had a '72 Mazda RX-7 painted cherry red (only way I could drive it was with the seat back almost all the way back and the sunroof open- I'm 6'5" ya see!). Was insured for like five years and then the insurance people came back and raised my premiums. Their reasoning? Why, it's a sports car! Duh! So when I went and argued they asked what color it was. I said red (like it has been saying on the insurance renewals since time immemorial!) and they raised the rates even more saying red cars get more tickets and in more accidents than any other car! Ha! I argued venomously and constantly until they dropped the premium back down to what it had been with the final consensus of "Well, don't get a ticket 'cause if you do.......". Mon, I hate insurance companies with a passion now.......
