I love to cook, but can't bake. I refuse to measure. Ever.

Tonight is a quick, easy, and delicious pasta dish cuz I'm lazy. It goes great with talapia (or other fish).

- Fresh pasta
- Tons and tons of finely chopped basil
- Chopped garlic, to fight vampires
- Chopped cherry/grape tomatoes
- Olive oil, dash of white wine vinegar, salt+pepper
- Goat cheese
- Pine nuts (optional)

If you're using pine nuts, roast them in a pan first and set aside. For the rest, heat the olive oil in a pan and add the garlic, cook it on med heat till the garlic starts to brown. Add the chopped tomatoes (quantity at your discretion), cook until softening. Add a dash of the wine vinegar, the basil, salt+pepper. Keep on low-med heat until you've decided the flavours have mingled sufficiently.

At the same time, boil water and add the fresh pasta. Fresh pasta is delicious and cooks in like 15 seconds, so it's win-win. Drain the water from the pasta, put it back in the pot. Add the tomato+basil sauce, and crumble a healthy dose of goat cheese all over the pasta while tossing it. Also add the pine nuts if you're using 'em. Toss, put in bowl, eat. Delicious.

If you're making it with fish (I use white fish), I normally bread the fish in

- Bread crumbs
- Salt+pepper
- Parmesan cheese
- FRESH DILL
- Other spices of your choosing

and then pan fry it with butter. Delicious.

I was over on Youtube watching old Soviet Aviation newsreels.....sorry.....

I am so glad everyone liked Caffi's Symphony Brownies! They were a trial batch actually. They were Ghirardelli mix with Hershey's Symphony chocolate in them. She will be THRILLED to hear they are still talked about with lust!

Say, maybe next time we can MAKE THEM ON SITE so everyone can have one all hot and bothered? Any takers?

I don't like to bake outside my own kitchen. I get spoiled by all my stuff, and packing up my kitchen and bringing it along doesn't seem very practical.

I'll just watch.
