Default 3 Dead in North Phoenix Motorcycle Crash
This happened a few miles from my house ...

8 motorcycles were struck by a sanitation truck. There were 20 motorcycles total at the stop light when the truck hit them:

3 dead in north Phoenix motorcycle crash

Saying a prayer for all the people and families involved ... very sad

My question is ... How the hell can you NOT see TWENTY motorcycles at a stop light??

Fucking sad, I wonder what the 20 motorcycles where? A gang? Maybe had been fucking with the driver? maybe the driver had been fucking with them?
Lesson as to why you always have an escape route when stopped at a light, and are watching your mirrors ect, no guarantee but it increases your odds.

On the law end of it, obviously, paperwork should be banned.

It is not uncommon for that many motorcyclist to be riding together. They were not a gang. From what I have gathered so far the truck driver was messing with papers and next thing he knew he hit them. There were 2 cars in front on the bikes and the truck pushed them into the cars. One woman's husband was in the wreck and if one of the cars was not pushed into him he would have been caught when the truck caught fire.

Here is what the guys wife said:

jaminf dont know any names. My husband was at the light, all bikes and cars around him light changed started going through saw the truck coming up real fast in rear view mirror car in front of him slammed on brakes then an explosion. My husband still at the scene will be for hours. My prayers go out for these families.

Wow..the news video says 5 people died. Something about it being bike week there.
Very tragic...but the truck driver? Wow, imagine having to deal with what he did. His carelessness just took 5 people's lives. How could anyone NOT take their life over something like that. His stupidity just brought un-imaginable grief to innocent people.

Someone should sit down with him, hand him a gun, and let him pull the trigger.

That is horrible. RIP to the fallen riders.

They need to change the name of that road to The Pay Attention Highway, if people are going to take it so literally.
