Default got hit by a car today

After a nice long weekend of riding, it seems that someone had to try and spoil it for me....but they failed

I had ridden almost 800 miles this weekend, all over the place, and on my way home, less than a half mile from home, a car pulls out right in front of me. I was able to swerve and ALMOST avoid contact....ALMOST. I only hit her front bumper with my leg, it just got swept off of the footpeg as I went in front of her...and yes, she was on her phone.

I allowed her to go by, and then chased her and "confronted" her at the next traffic light...we had a few "polite" words before she drove off...not feeling we had sufficiently covered the topic, I followed her and initiated the conversation once more, as she again drove off.....before I could stop a third time, the blue lights were in my mirror, and another car was alongside of me....by the time I was able to explain how she cut in front of me, and hit me...she was long gone.....

The police told me to leave before they arrested me for frightening the poor lady in the car

Next time, I'm just kicking in the door and leaving,

Ride safe

Your lucky she didnt put a bullet in your brain or swerve and end your riding career all together. No matter what on a bike you are always wrong. If you wanted to tell her at the first light, thats fine, after that, let it go, nothing is accomplished but more anger and resentment to other future bikers as it will always be the "man I remember this one time when a biker chased me down, horrible people, Im running them over next time"

Small crowbar, held to your tail by a few strands of a web net.

Remove pieces of car with it and fling it as hard as you can off the side of the road and take off. No evidence, no perpetrator in sight. Vengeance is yours.

That really sucks. You should have stopped and called the police yourself as soon as it happened.

Glad you didn't get hurt. Karma will pick up where the police failed.

Best advice^^^

Call the cops immediately and tell them someone you think was drunk (the constabulary pay attention) just tried to run over you on your motorcycle and you are following them. After all, if she hadn't been drinking, why did she nearly crash you? Make her tell the police she wasn't drinking, she was on the phone

She prolly called on you when you chased after her the second time...she won this one

you could have fallen off your bike when the cops got there rolling around on the ground saying your knee hurt and you were trying to get her information so you could go to the DR.
