Trains are dangerous. Our adopted daughter lived on the streets for a while, and a lot of the street kids still "ride the rails" to travel. She knows a girl who lost her leg doing that, and last year we went to a funeral of one of her friends who died doing that.

It sucks for the families, but as stated, it's not like the train ambushed them coming around a corner.
