When I read the title to this thread, I thought it was going to be some kind of animal making tunnels under roads on it's own.

But this is even better. We have tons of deer here in Michigan...and I see dead ones on the highway everyday. Maybe if there were some tunnels they'd be able to use them and not get killed so often by cars.

Are deer smart enough to know to use tunnels? We know they should...but do they?

yes apparently they are, I tried to find the link on the story done here but I could not find it, but they were using it. wolves too, which surprises me that the elk/deer would use the tunnel after predators did.

and I personally dont think deer are any dumber than people, people jump out in front of cars all the friggin time too.
