Default Most Humbling Experience

So yesterday at work a rare incident came up, I was feeling sick all day at work, so i finally asked my boss if it was ok to go home, and he said that would be fine, let me say i am proud to be sick rarely and my boss knows it.
Well i put on my jacket and hat and headed out the door, i walk past the bathroom thinking "I'm gonna puke", i gathered myself and thought "i will be fine once i step outside" because i was feeling really warm.
Well i get outside take three or four steps, burp, then gag, run to the grass and continue to vomit, while the Sheriff, Jail Administrator (my boss), newly hired CO, both secretaries inside looking out the window at the instant i start to hack up coffee and a doughnut from breakfast.
I knew there was something wrong when i had not urinated yet that day, yet i drank nearly 100 oz of fluids.
I feel much better today, but it just is kind of embarrassing to have something like that suddenly hit with out any control.

Take consolation in the fact that everyone gets sick at some time or other. But it does suck to be sick in public.

I got food poisoning on the plane on my last trip to England. Ate dinner shortly after take-off, slept for an hour and woke up freezing and covered in sweat, horrible feeling in my stomach, and after about 30 minutes started episodes of what felt like going in and out of consciousness. When I finally got my act together enough to get out of my seat, I barely made it into the restroom before puking up everything I ate all over the room.

Then somehow made it back to my seat and slept the rest of the flight, pretty much covered in puke. I reported it to a flight attendant, but no one seemed to care.

As soon as I got off the plane, I somehow made it baggage claim, got my bags and went straight to the loo to change. Then somehow made it to where my son and his girlfriend (who I was just meeting for the time) were waiting for me. Went back to his place and slept for the rest of the day and all night. Felt better the next day.

I did not eat ANYTHING on the flight home. And don't ever intend on eating during a flight again.

I never used to puke from being pregnant. I would faint for no reason, but never puke. And since that happened in December of 2008 and I haven't had a baby yet, I think it's safe to say I was not pregnant.
