I've heard a lot about 1800. I've only had patron which is smooth. Cuervo is fucking garbage

For tequila, Patron is the best I've had that is readily available. I prefer the aged darker versions. As with Scotch, there are lots of little producers that can make some fine stuff, but it's hard to find and expensive.

As for vodka, a very good one I had was Chopin, from Poland and made only from potatoes.

I'd done some research on Chopin and found it was made from potatoes and I usually drink patron but was wondering if there were any brands which are as good or better just not as marketed since we all know about patron and ghrey goose but being popular doesn't mean its the best.
