I have done my fair share of plumbing. I replumbed my Mom-in-law's house a few years ago. I plumbed an add on bath room at my parents and all kinds of repairs around the house.

I would however love to learn how to sweat copper. PVC is getting too easy, I need to be challenged

I have actually helped with that and now have a torch, flux and stuff to sweat a pipe with myself.

I'd save all my DVR space for it and that includes the space I'm using for Smallville

Well-he stuccoed just about every single Lennar, Pulte, DR Horton ETC track house you can see from Ocala to Kissimee and side to side of the state for 20 years with anyone of his 6-8 crews he had along with restorations, some commercial etc, til we dumped it all n moved to NC mountains where he did it all HIMSELF-refused to take on even one laborer.
We came back down 6+ years ago, he partnered in development and to do ONE project in Kissimmee (townhomes/condos). That finished and they did another one. Every single unit PRESOLD before first stake went into ground and we even had to expand project for WAIT LIST!
Osceola put project 6-8 months behind over water treatment plant we ended up having to install. Literally, if not for that, entire project would have finished and all CLOSED/paid just in time and before the "CRASH". So....60+ investors/buyers either freaked and backed out or could no longer get qualified etc and, well-that was exactly the equivolent of profit on project and money to move forward.

So, for last 18+ months-no work/NO INCOME and well....So-he is back knocking, BANGING, begging at doorsteps for ANYthing....he can build/fix ANYthing you need done.
Do have hands on potential project and also some potential leads for steady stuff-will get with you if interested. lmk.
In meantime, I am back to my old career and sat at desk 14+ hours STRAIGHT 6 days week. Oh and back to college to finish degrees. I'm tired. LOL

Sorry-jacked yer thread n need to get to work here. Really nice work and we have always said how much nicer it is to do something yourself and the pride in it as opposed to paying someone else to do it. Have handful of personal homes we completely remodeled and then SOLD as soon as finally done. geesh. LOL
(sorry for mini-novel all)

Well, if he gets something and needs help with it, I'm obviously not afraid to get my hands dirty and if I ride the bike over, that would save on gas and get me some riding time in too. Let me know if he needs/wants some help with anything. Thanks Janet, really!
