I finally got a bike! (Yay)
It's a 91 GSX 600. Definitely a fixer upper but at least it is something. I picked it up for $424 out the door. ![]()

The first stage that I hope to have done in the spring: Fix gas tank leak, new mirrors, new windshield, new rear tire, new chain/sprockets, battery, paint rims, valve check, and clean the carbs. That will at least have it in operable condition.
Past that, take care of all the cosmetic stuff and new plastics. Btw, Anyone know how exactly to fix a leaking gas tank? It has a small hole from rust. |

The best bet may be to take it to a repair shop and have them weld the hole shut, but if the interior of the tank is rust, you may just have to get a new one. |

I haven't really looked. I just saw some rust and a hole. I won't be able to pick the bike up for a few weeks so I won't know till then.

JB water weld works well on gas tank leaks, but taking it in and having it welded or buying another tank works optimal.
Congrats. really, you do not have all that much to do.
