Default Favorite dinner Recipes?

Whats up guys? On my ever elusive quest to cut down this summer, im trying to eat pretty damn healthy. I like to cook so it's fun making new meals. I was wondering what some of your favorite meals to make were. Maybe some things that aren't tooo time consuming cause by the time I get off and home its already 6ish so i dont have much time to get crazy.

As a simple side dish, zuchini and squash cut up and sauteed in the cast iron is always good. Whole grain pasta with a little parmasean cheese is another favorite.

Whatcha got biznatches?

I will unload a ton of tasty, fairly healthy, and not-too-hard to make/not too exotic ingredients recipes tonight. I worked as a cook for 7 years which has taught me alot, and having been a poor student I had to learn to cook well on a budget too. Any types of meals you're looking for in particular? Any cooking style? BBQ, sautée, soups?

I looooove cooking, and love talking about it. In my life there are many things I am willing to do without or be cheap on - food isn't one of them. I will not compromise my diet or starve my tastebuds

couple quick ones I use as a mainstay for myself but I make them portioned out for the week.

Tuna-fish/pasta/salsa I know it sounds gross and honestly it looks gross but its actually pretty good.

Boil up pasta, mix in 1 can of tuna per serving of pasta and cover with salsa. The moisture in the salsa keeps the pasta from getting stiff again and if you mix it up and just heat it for a few secs in the nuke box you have an instant meal with 26grams of protein and no fat.

Next up

Uncle Ben's or similiar long grain rice and chicken breast. I make the rice and portion it out and put one chicken breast on top of each one that I have cooked up my favorite way.

Super kick ass protein burritos.........

Chicken breast, scrambled egg whites and cheese with louisianna hot sauce.

I make all kinds of shit like this to eat during the day. It gets me 5-6 meals a day and they arent shit meals and as many of ya know.........85% of looking like a bad motherfucker is nutrition not the weights.

You're right the tuna dish sounds fuckin nasty but I'll try it. I love tuna i eat it and crackers atleast 3 times a week for lunch after the gym. Top it with a protien shake and im really full! The burritos sound really simple and delicious thanks man.

I already got the weights part covered. I started mountain biking recently and i've been getting a ton of extra cardio from that and I can tell a huge difference. If I can get the diet to fall into place, it's gunna get nasty!! haha
