One of those things I don't believe in. Helmets should not be sold after used. They are only good so long, and who knows how the previous owner treated the helmet.
Sorry Blurr I'm not bashing but someone buying a used helmet should not be riding. |

No its ok, I dont disagree, however I figure someone who is to cheap to buy a new helmet could benefit from a used one in good shape, something is better than nothing, and god knows most are content with nothing.

I don't fault you...I'm a pack rat so I don't typically sell...last one I took out and shot up. Gave me something to shoot. Amazing how bird shot does not go through them, of course the .38 had no problems...LOL

I made a rule a few years ago before I get anything new, I have to make an attempt to sell something old, if it does not sell, it goes to the garbage, still trying to liquidate much of my clutter, and I have been working for a year on cleaning up my dads place and his pack rat status grrr.
Have never shot up a helmet, lol I did think about taking a sledge hammer to one though.

Yep I just went through a ton of toys from the 1980's...LOL Wife is like do we HAVE to keep He-Man and GI Joe...yeah if we have a boy an action figure is an action figure does not mean I will not buy them new toys of the day but at least we don't need to buy them much. I will agree Castle Greyskull is pretty big...LOL I guess if a girl I told her I'd toss or donate, maybe try and sale some of them. I actually remember which piece goes to which character.
You sound like my brother in-law, he sells things before buying new or right afterwards. I have all the plastic, OEM exhaust, and a bunch of stuff I would not use for my XR650R...I keep them as spares and as if I sell the bike people love a box of goodies for free. I have a hard time parting with items mainly because we have the room, so its not a space issue nor a money one. I thought about selling the mint condition and shootable 1928 Bolt action shotgun, but as it was my Grandfathers and I don't need the money I just don't see why I should...although I could then use the money to buy a modern one...yep I have hoarding tendencies...LOL |
